2026.05.01[Important] Notice Regarding Changes to Accommodation Tax Handling (Effective June 1st, 2026 (Monday))
Thank you for your continued patronage of Villa Fontaine /Villages.
In accordance with the guidelines of each local government, our hotel will be changing the handling of accommodation tax from the "included in the accommodation fee" method for reservations made from June 1st, 2026 (Monday) onwards.
We will be changing to a system where fees are collected separately on-site, in addition to the accommodation charges.

Even if you have made a reservation with "prepayment" via online credit card payment, you will still need to pay the accommodation tax separately at the hotel upon check-in.
■ Criteria for applying changes
The handling of accommodation tax varies depending on the date of your reservation.
Customers who have made a reservation by Sunday, May 31, 2026
Even if your stay is on or after June 1, 2026, the accommodation tax is included in the room rate. (No additional payment will be required.)
*There is no change to the fee for Village Kyoto, as it has always been collected on-site.
*At Village Atami, from the preparation stage for opening, a lodging tax has been set separately from the accommodation fee from the time of booking and will be collected on-site.
Customers who made a reservation on or after Monday, June 1, 2026
Regardless of the date of stay, the accommodation tax will be collected separately from the accommodation fee at the property.
